I love writing why-choose romance, usually in sci-fi or fantasy worlds.

I started because too many books were too clean and I wanted more dirt in them, the kind of story where the world is already wrecked and the men who find you don’t bother asking if you’re staying.

I write at night and bad weather helps. I like ugly desire more than pretty speeches, women who can survive on their own and still get kept, and older men who are only gentle when they feel like it.

When I’m not writing I read the same kind of stories and walk in weather most people hate.
